Presenation of Joint-Pot Experiment, July 2020
SystemLink presented the longterm Joint-Pot Experiment on the area of the Julius-Kühn-Institut in Siebeldingen under the presence of the State Secretary of the MWWK Dr. Denis Alt.
Despite the rain, the doctoral students were able to convey to all guests the content and importance of the experiment for SystemLink.

Online Autumn Academy
SystemLink and the Online Project presents an international online academy on spatial ecotoxicology and ecotoxicological risk assessment – using an open community approach.
The online acdemy will last from 1st August till 31st October.
Application Deadline: 31.07.2020
Research Workshop, January 2020
3 year-doctoral research position (PhD student, 65% EG 13 TV-L) (f/m/d)
This project will focus on the flood-mediated effects of stressors such as aquatic micropollutants and invasive species on terrestrial recipient communities. The work involves a review of meta-ecosystem models, and the subsequent development of a model, which will include the above-mentioned stressors. The model should consider biogeochemical cycles, soil physical properties, ecosystem functions, and riparian bottom-up plant-herbivore trophic interactions. Once empirical data are available, the model will be used to test the hypothesis that environmental stressors destabilize the dynamics of the riparian trophic system via bottom-up effects.
